As part of a dedicated team, you'll support clients to live independently in their homes and communities. You'll help them achieve their goals and reach their potential through practical and emotional support, following a personalized care plan. Tasks may include the following: * Meal preparation * Community outings and integration * Medication supervision * Personal cares (showering, toileting etc.) * Home management What's in it for you? We currently have a full-time permanent vacancy at Millvale House Napier, working a minimum of 30 hours per week. We are looking for a special person to join our dedicated team in a dual full time role including both Diversional Therapy and Caregiving shifts. Ideally we are looking for a qualified Diversional Therapist alongside practical Caregiving experience. Experience in, and an understanding of, dementia would be a strong advantage. This is an opportunity to use your diversional therapy knowledge and skills to create an activities programme that acknowledges the specialised needs of people with advanced D6 dementia, also reflecting the individual needs and goals of residents.
