Mō mātou | About us At Inland Revenue, we support over 1.5 million customers in the Micro Business and Not-for-Profit segment—ranging from sole traders and small businesses to charities, trusts, and Māori authorities. Our work helps ensure customers meet their tax obligations and receive the entitlements they’re eligible for. Our teams span 17 sites across Aotearoa and include frontline customer service officers, customer compliance specialists, and technical experts. Together, we focus on education, intervention, and enforcement to maintain the integrity of the tax system and support customer success. Mō te tūnga | About the role As aGroup Lead, you’ll report to a Customer Segment Leader and lead multiple teams across New Zealand, through your team leaders. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver services, drive innovation, and support our people to succeed. In this role you will: * Champion a strong leadership vision, aligned with IR’s priorities, and bring it to life through your people. * Build a high-performing, inclusive environment that empowers teams to deliver great outcomes for customers. * Lead with curiosity and courage—encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration. * Partner across Inland Revenue to co-design and deliver integrated customer strategies. * Support your leaders to grow, coach for performance, and lead through change.
