In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining the parks and gardens that make the Selwyn District thrive. Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll help keep our community spaces vibrant and inviting. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance of parks and reserves, both on a reactive or scheduled basis, in line with contract specifications. This involves garden care, annual bedding displays (planting and maintenance), vegetation control, horticultural spraying, basic weeding, line trimming, and mulching. We are are currently seeking an individual to join our Landscape Construction & Maintenance team in Whitianga, Coromandel. You will be required to work well within a small team to efficiently create landscape's to a high standard. A minimum 6 Months experience is required as proof of basic knowledge within the Landscape industry, on-site training will be provided by experienced staff to further your skills and knowledge, further training towards a Level 4 Qualification may be provided to the right applicant. Prior qualifications or experience with administration would be an advantage. Minimum Requirements: *Minimum 6 months landscaping experience. * Full Drivers License. *Punctual. *Basic knowledge of plant species. *Basic knowledge of creating hardscape structures. *Can safely operate power tools. *Work as part of a team and as a individual when needed.
