Role Responsibilities: * Cake decoration and product finishing * Baking * Stocking shelves with precision, including rotation of items. * Maintaining a spotless and organised workspace, including the storeroom. * Adhering to our food safety and workplace safety program. Required Skills: * A team player with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Open minded and enthusiastic and able to work over time when needed. * Resilience to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment. * Physical fitness to perform tasks efficiently. * Creative flair and a keen eye for detail to ensure product quality. * A positive attitude and the ability to work harmoniously with our team. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. * A proven track record of reliability. * Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules. * Experience decorating cakes and other baked goods is preferred. We are looking for an early riser who enjoys working in a fast-paced team with a passion for baking and decorating who is keen to join our busy Bakery team as a Bakery Assistant. In this role you will be committed to baking, finishing and decorating quality products to meet customer demands.  Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will contribute to this high performing team who are customer focussed and motivated to perform. Hours of work: * Sunday 4:00am – 12:30pm * Monday 4:00am – 12:30pm * Tuesday 8:30am – 5:00pm * Wednesday 8:30am – 5:00pm * Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm * 40 hours per week In return, New World Mosgiel will provide a friendly focused working environment with a benefits package relative to the skills and experience of the applicant.  There is also potential for this opportunity to develop into an apprenticeship for the right person.
