As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Leading Hand / Foreman to join our team. The Role As a Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing on-site operations, leading a team of builders and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard—on time, on budget, and to specification. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for a qualified builder ready to take the next step or an experienced foreman looking for a new challenge with an architectural focus. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage daily site operations Supervise and lead building teams and subcontractors Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to architectural plans Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers Track progress and report on project milestones Order materials and manage on-site inventory Skills & Experience: Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) preferred or working towards it Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential/commercial construction Proven experience leading teams on architectural or bespoke builds Strong understanding of NZ building codes and standards Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans High attention to detail and a commitment to quality What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Work vehicle and phone provided for right candidate Supportive team culture with opportunities for career development Ongoing training and progression within the company A chance to work on some of Christchurch’s most exciting and unique builds How to Apply Ready to take the next step in your building career?
