Residential Construction – Foundations Specialist / Building and Construction Labourer. * Location: Canterbury region - Christchurch, Selwyn & Waimakariri Districts * Job Type: Full-Time * Company: Dig & Form Ltd We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Foundations Specialist / Building and Construction Labourer to join our growing crew. We specialise in residential foundations, specifically RibRaft and concrete slab systems — as well as excavation/digouts and landscape construction projects across Christchurch, Selwyn, and Waimak districts. If you’ve got experience working with concrete slabs, are phyiscally fit and huge work ethic, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing? * Assisting with site layout and boxing for ribraft/concrete slabs * Supporting excavation prep, reinforcing, and steel placement * Helping with concrete pours and site clean-up * Working closely with excavator operators, site managers, and other trades * Keeping the site tidy, productive, and safe What We’re Looking For? * 1-2 years experience ideally in RibRaft foundations * Physically fit, reliable, and ready to work outdoors * Good attitude and a willingness to muck in * Able to follow instructions and work as part of a tight team * Full NZ driver’s licence + reliable transport * WTR or Site Safe tickets a bonus What We Offer? * Full-time hours - average 45-50 hours p/week * Consistent work throughout Christchurch, Selwyn & Waimakariri districts * Competitive pay based on experience * Opportunities to upskill in excavation, landscaping, and concrete work * Supportive crew with well organised processes and systems, new gear, and good leadership Apply now with your CV.
