Job Description for FOH/Barista. Have a good knowledge of food, counter food and coffee beverages Maintain a high and correct standard of coffee beverages. Be responsible for quality of every coffee that is made. Maintain a high and correct standard of customer service. Carry out any requests by the Restaurant Manager Maintain a high standard of restaurant equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils, etc. Ensure the restaurant area is kept clean and tidy. Ensure all food, beverage & non-consumables are accounted for and charged for. Follow establishment policies – particularly in regard to wastage, breakage and personal grooming. Ensure that all property is handled with due care. Deal with customer complaints, queries with authority, or refer to supervisor. Be flexible in relation to working hours or additional hours other than standard opening times. Attend staff meetings. Preferred Technical Competencies National Certificate in Food & Beverage Service (Level 2 or 3) or equivalent
