We are seeking an experienced and socially conscious, self-motivated person who prioritises hospitality to join our small and dedicated team. What we offer | Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou - Tuesday – Saturday - Minimum 32.25 hours per week - Closed over Christmas and New Year period - Closed on Public Holidays - A paid gift day on your birthday - Paid meal breaks - Living Wage - Annual health care allowance $500.00 The role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi We are seeking a Barista/Front of house with the following attributes: - barista experience - operating a point-of-sale system - running and clearing tables - servicing the conference room - assisting with conference room bookings - flexibility to meet the needs of the café. - food safety knowledge - excellent communication skills - full driver’s license - a can-do attitude Because of our philosophy, the person must be able to embrace the values of this organisation with a passion and desire to serve others. We’re on the lookout for a Coffee Cart Manager to run a brand-new coffee cart near Lakes Edge Holiday Park in Lake Tekapo. This is a full-time, self-managed position ideal for someone who is passionate about coffee, thrives in a hospitality environment, and is excited to be part of something from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and manage the daily functions of the coffee cart - Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages and food to customers - Ensure exceptional customer service at all times - Manage inventory, ordering of coffee and food, and stock control - Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant food and beverage environment - Monitor sales, set daily goals, and maximise performance - Contribute to marketing, menu ideas, and business growth strategies.
