Looking for our next experienced All Rounder Barista! Job Title: Experienced All Rounder Barista Location: Gloria Jeans Bayfair Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: At Gloria Jeans, we’re passionate about quality coffee, great food, and creating a welcoming space for our community. We’re currently looking for a reliable and experienced barista to join our team and take on a key role in the day-to-day operations of the café. About the Role: This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is confident in both front-of-house service and behind-the-counter responsibilities. You’ll be involved in all aspects of café operations—from making exceptional coffee to managing stock and closing up at the end of the day. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages • Open the café and set up for daily service • Greet and serve customers with friendly, efficient service • Prepare and present cabinet food and menu items • Take and serve orders for food and beverages • Conduct regular stock checks and manage stock rotation • Place orders for stock and supplies as needed • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including back, kitchen, and dining spaces • Assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing procedures What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista in a busy café environment • Confident with coffee equipment, milk steaming, and latte art • Great communication and customer service skills • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities • Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player • Comfortable with opening and closing duties • Experience with stock management and ordering is a bonus Availability Requirements: • Must be available for early morning starts • Flexibility to work late-night finishes on some days (Thursday and Friday mall nights) • Weekend availability preferred Perks: • Supportive team environment • Great coffee and staff discounts • Opportunity to grow with a locally loved café How to Apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to kirin.kd@gmail.com.
