Due to our long standing mechanic moving on, we are currently seeking a qualified heavy diesel technician. Applicants who apply should have the following: - Relevant heavy diesel trade qualification - can work well unsupervised as well as part of a team - Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills - Have a strong health and safety culture for yourself and those you are working with - Be reliable honest with a positive can do attitude - Be self motivated and organised - Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing - Must have good communication with management and fellow workmates - Have full driver license - A good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems With this position you will be responsible for ordering parts that are needed for repairs and maintenance of the equipment you are working on. Wage rate depending on qualifications and experience is $40-$50ph with a tool allowance and time and half paid over 40 hours. Standard work week is Monday-Friday 7am-5pm with minimal weekend work but available if requested Job will entail approx. 70% field service and 30% in our well equipped workshop.
