ShareJob Description: We need a high-quality air conditioning installer/technician who is very familiar with the New Zealand aircon industry and an individual with 3 or more years of experience within the sector. The individual must be willing to work hard, contribute to the training of our staff, continue to grow both personally and professionally, you will need to be able to self-manage and work independently, and have an ability to work well in a team environment, manage and communicate with clients, etc. You will naturally be committed to what you do, professional, big on giving exceptional customer service, and enjoy being part of an innovative and forward-thinking team. But first a bit about the company:- We are a moderately sized company that has experienced solid growth over the last 7-8 years in everything from residential, commercial, and the industrial sector Skilled Aircon aims to be the easiest contractor to deal with on any job site, and we want our clients to know that we have done as much as we can for them in all instances. We so far have 160 + 5 star google reviews which does indicate we are delivering a high-quality service the vast majority of the time. We continue to build a team that is considered among the best in the industry. Therefore we need the following type of person. - Trustworthy, honest, and down to earth, that goes without saying I hope. -Hard workers are essential, (if you are looking for a cushy job please don't apply). -You are service orientated, your role is not just to be a technician, your primary role is to give the best service you can to all who come into contact with Skilled HVAC. -We want people who are humble, (No big egos here). -You don't stress too much under pressure. We take our job very seriously, however, we want people that can keep the job in perspective. -People with a willingness to do whatever task is required to get the job done safely and efficiently. - We are looking for people that are Committed to their own improvement and their quality of work - You are Professional in what you do and how you conduct yourself around clients - You will have a Collaborative approach and work well with other trades, and see teamwork as very important to the companies success. - You are proactive and innovative in your approach with a can do attitude. The role is about solving problems for others, that is why we are being engaged to do the work. And in return we/the company will endeavor to do the following: -Supply you with a good pay rate, $35-$42 per hour, smartphone, laptop, uniform, etc. - Tool allowance - Supply you with a modern vehicle -Always communicate and listen to what your needs/wants are inside and outside of work. We then look for ways the company can help you meet those needs/wants. -Supply you with the resources, skills, etc. you require to do the job efficiently and as smoothly as you can. -We will do our best to provide you with your preferred type of work. (sometimes can be difficult to do but we actively seek to get a variety of work). -Actively work to keep a positive, upbeat work environment and culture. With allowances for after-work social events.
