Signed Original Cottage and Flowers Watercolour by Harold Foster

A signed original watercolour landscape painting by known artist Harold Foster. Featuring a thatched cottage, flowers, trees behind and fields beyond - the artist has signed in the bottom left corner. There is a minor mark in the sky, top right corner; otherwise the whole artwork's in good condition. On the back is a Seymour Framing Gallery label. Relatively prolific, Foster's paintings of English country scenes date from around the 1940s-1950s and auction records I've found from 1972 onwards. His artworks have had auction estimates ranging from $250 to $2000 and achieved sales from $100 to $900. This particular watercolour is larger than average. The visible watercolour measures 43cm by 30cm(the frame 67cm by 54cm), it's protected behind glass, quite heavy and ready to hang. See photos.
