Are you an experienced Spray Painter with a track record of achieving targets and a passion for delivering high quality finishes? If so we may have an opportunity for you to join the team. We are looking for a full time Spray Painter to work on all types of vehicles in our newly built paint shop. This position is based at our workshops on Newnham Street in Rangiora for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime is also available. Pay is competitive and negotiable depending on skill and experience. A sign-on bonus can also be negotiated. We are a Licensed Collision Repair Association (CRA) repairer, a member of the Motor Trade Association (MTA) and +Impac Prequal Health & Safety Assessed company. As a Spray Painter at Straight-N-Paint you will work along side other highly skilled tradespeople on a variety of vehicles using in a modern, clean workshop. Responsibilities of the role include: * Preparing and finishing a variety of vehicles to a high standard * Using our body shop management system to document each job. Training will be provided. * Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised and free from hazards Skills and experience required: * A minimum of 3 years experience as a Spray Painter would be preferred but not essential depending on skill * Technical skills, knowledge and experience of the panel and paint industry. *Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential, depending on experience. Ongoing training will be provided. * Strong communication skills * Well organised and an ability to multitask and manage a varied workload * Excellent attention to detail * Upbeat and friendly personality and good character is essential * Valid, full driving license * Colour matching skills If you are interested in this position contact one of the team in confidence. Motorsport Solutions are looking for two new employees one to run and manage our *Engine shop and Dyno facility and one experienced engineer preferably with a motorsport or aviation background to assist with building and servicing of racing cars and various projects. Skills required would be a background in Automotive machining and or manual and CNC machines. General welding skills . General interest in racing cars and the associated manufacture of would be a help.

We are looking for an experienced mechanic to work in our well equipped workshop. The applicant needs to be able to work on all types of vehicles & also able to do WOF inspections.

We require a Technician to join our busy workshop in Springfield. If you are seeking a job with responsibility and management roles this may be for you. Our workshop carries out a wide variety of repairs and maintenance, our main client base is rural farming. We also run a busy roadside breakdown and recovery service covering from Darfield to Otira. You will preferably have a WOF certificate or the ability to gain one. A full clean full drivers license is essential HT license a bonus. Able to manage your own day and carry out administration as required. Also work along side other team members and assist in training. If you are an outdoors person who loves the country Springfield has a lot to offer with local ski fields, rivers and lakes at our door step. It also offers a highly recommended primary school and also a Darfield High school bus run.

Whilst you will be working outside of school hours you may have contact with the public and teachers so you will need to have excellent people skills. Put your Professional Cleaning Experience to good work here or if you do not have experience, we are happy to train you. The Role: Monday - Friday 3:15pm-5:15pm Total hours: 10hs per week Please note as this is a school, you will be employed to work 40 weeks of the year + 4 weeks term cleans.
