Due to our business's continued growth, we are looking for another experienced engineering all-rounder to join our team. This is a newly created position working alongside our current team. The permanent full-time position will involve breakdowns, general maintenance and repairs, as well as upgrades to our fleet. This role will include: - • Repairs and maintenance of Agricultural Machinery and Vehicles. • On Farm repairs with our purpose-built workshop trailer. • A variety of tasks including Hydraulic repairs, Heavy fabrication and Machining. What we are looking for: - • Multi-skilled with engineering and mechanical knowledge. • Heavy Fabrication experience would be advantageous. • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. • Excellent attention to detail, even on the small jobs. • Practical and hands-on with the ability to problem solve while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Flexibility with a common-sense approach. Are you an experienced Spray Painter with a track record of achieving targets and a passion for delivering high quality finishes? If so we may have an opportunity for you to join the team. We are looking for a full time Spray Painter to work on all types of vehicles in our newly built paint shop. This position is based at our workshops on Newnham Street in Rangiora for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime is also available. Pay is competitive and negotiable depending on skill and experience. A sign-on bonus can also be negotiated. Straight-N-Paint Collision Repair is a well established, trusted company with a fantastic team. We are a Licensed Collision Repair Association (CRA) repairer, a member of the Motor Trade Association (MTA) and +Impac Prequal Health & Safety Assessed company. As a Spray Painter at Straight-N-Paint you will work along side other highly skilled tradespeople on a variety of vehicles using in a modern, clean workshop. Responsibilities of the role include: * Preparing and finishing a variety of vehicles to a high standard * Using our body shop management system to document each job. Training will be provided. * Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised and free from hazards Skills and experience required: * A minimum of 3 years experience as a Spray Painter would be preferred but not essential depending on skill * Technical skills, knowledge and experience of the panel and paint industry. *Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential, depending on experience.
