Due to continued growth, EPIC Recruitment are looking for a proven people leader in the heavy equipment sector to take the next step in their career and step up as a Leading Hand for this Christchurch based team, overseeing their workshop and field service teams. Based out of one of their key sites, with accessibility to sales, service, parts and aftermarket – this person will be responsible for the delivery of a top-of-the-line employee customer service experience by supporting this aligned team, for this market leading OEM in this 60/40 on and off the tools role. From leading by example as the conduit for team across all technical touch points for this area of the workshop– you will be passionate in not only encouraging others to come on the journey, but being able to identify training opportunities for the team, by understanding what the team need/ want to continue their journey with the group and in their wider careers- by helping coach and encourage the team, sharing your well-tuned experience and skillset. This role will also interface with all other departments within the framework and requires a relatable leader with an open and approachable style, proven ability to deliver across many pertinent avenues at any one time, and an ability to relate to the team and customers from all walks of life in a way that aligns to the company values. With a proven passion for customer service and ensuring that as a team - from the top down - number one focus is to do the job right, first time for the benefit of their clients and their team NZ wide.
