At Mainstream we move, manage and store freight for our clients throughout New Zealand and across the world. We’re growing at a rapid pace so an opportunity has come about to appoint an experienced freight Checker for our night shift at our Auckland Branch. The hours for the role are approximately 5:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Reporting directly to the Auckland Metro Manager this “hands on” position forms a vital part of our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our freight being loaded onto our units, including associated paperwork, such as manifests and DGs. To be successful you will ideally be able to demonstrate: • Intermediate computer skills with good data entry; • Understanding and respect for health and safety requirements; • An enthusiastic can do attitude; • Available to start immediately. • Reliable with good communication skills & a strong work ethic Applicants must be permitted to work in New Zealand & have a clean Driver's License (Leaners, etc.) The position offers strong career growth opportunities within our dynamic and expanding business.
