Job Title: Project Manager (Commercial Construction) Job Type: Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in Lower Hutt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects. - Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. - Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings. - Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. - Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders. Required Skills: - Strong leadership and organisational skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - In-depth knowledge of construction processes and regulations. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field. - Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction project management. - Strong working knowledge of the NZ building code, NZ standards (incl. NZS3910, 3604: 2011) - MS project qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
