On Demand Training is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Driving Instructor to support our trainees in preparing for their Restricted Class 1 (car) driver licence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about road safety, enjoys helping others succeed, and can bring a calm and encouraging presence to the learner driver experience. About the Role You will be working with learners who are enrolled in our driver licence support programme, many of whom are new drivers from a range of backgrounds. Your key responsibility will be to provide high-quality practical driving instruction, build learner confidence behind the wheel, and help prepare trainees for their restricted licence test. This role is based in the Manukau area and would suit someone looking for flexible, part-time hours. To be successful in this role, you must: * Hold a current I endorsement on your full New Zealand driver licence * Have access to a dual-control vehicle suitable for instruction * Be able to pass a criminal history check and meet vetting requirements under the Children’s Act * Have experience providing driving instruction, preferably in the Manukau region * Be friendly, patient, calm, and committed to supporting learners of all abilities * Be punctual, professional, and able to work independently * Be comfortable working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds What We Offer: * A supportive and experienced team environment * Flexible working hours * Opportunities to make a real impact in people’s lives by helping them gain independence and access employment Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
