We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 5 Hardsider Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves carting goods from Tauranga to Auckland and then completing a grocery run back from Auckland to Tauranga, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The position operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, providing a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate a hard sider truck. • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. • Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. • Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status. • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. • Handle goods with care to avoid damage. • Report any incidents or accidents promptly. Requirements: • Valid Class 5 driver's license. • Proven experience as a hard sider driver. • Clean driving record. • Strong understanding of road safety regulations. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
