Remuera, 3 bedrooms

Kia Ora! We’re looking for a friendly flatmate to join us in our sunny duplex in Remuera. Our flat is one half of an 80’s duplex situated 5 mins walk from the Remuera village shop and a 4 min walk/30 second run down the hill to the bus stop. We have a beautiful garden and the whole house gets a lot of sun. The flat is fully furnished (apart from the available room) including all kitchenware and we love plants and colourful second hand furniture :) The room available has a window facing away from the road with a nice view including the sky tower and a large built-in double wardrobe. The room itself is on the smaller side and despite the double wardrobe probably wouldn’t suit a couple, for that reason the room would best suit a single person. We have lots of storage in the house and you’ll also be able to have half of the hall cupboard, half of the bathroom cupboard, shelf space in the garage and shelf space in the living room for your things. We have a shared fridge but space for you to have your own pantry in the kitchen (our old flatmate will take their pantry cupboard with them so there’s a lovely spot for it you just need to bring a cupboard). Vibes are friendly and progressive. We value keeping communal areas clean and tidy and everyone pitching in for chores. We like to decorate for the holidays and usually have a flat dinner every week or two. Existing flatmates are queer creative types in our early 30’s who both work for charities and pursue artsy stuff as well. Looking for a flatmate who shares similar values, won’t smoke/vape in the house, and values cleanliness. We enjoy sharing meals and hanging out now and again but are quite busy also.
