The Role As our R&D Scientist, you’ll be the bridge between concept and creation - transforming active ingredients into cosmetic reality. Working closely with our Formulation, Quality, and Clinical teams, you’ll design and execute lab studies, analyse results, and translate them into insights that shape our next generation of products. You’ll operate across lab, pilot, and corporate environments, balancing creativity with rigour. From extracting bioactives to developing test methods and drafting technical reports, your work will directly influence how nature’s intelligence becomes cosmetic performance. Key Responsibilities Laboratory & Method Development Conduct analytical and in vitro testing on organic materials and finished formulations. Operate and maintain key laboratory instruments (pH/viscosity meters, centrifuge, plate readers, Corneometer, Tewameter, etc.). Support scale-up trials and method optimisation for seamless lab-to-production transitions. Data Analysis & Reporting Record and process test data using statistical tools. Prepare concise summaries, visual data sets, and insights for internal reports and client communications. Contribute to technical content for marketing and formulation support. Technical Support & Compliance Maintain SOPs, calibration logs, and quality documentation. Assist in clinical study logistics and liaise with production on pilot runs. Champion GLP/GMP-like standards and continuous improvement across R&D. You Bring Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience, including 3+ years in cosmetics (in vitro assays, stability, and lab–pilot–production). Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and data storytelling. Confidence working both independently and collaboratively across scientific and commercial teams.
