





We're looking for two committed Fish Passage Ranger - Interns, fixed term for approximately five months from November or December 2025. These full-time, paid internships will work out of our Cuba Street office in Wellington. **About the role:** As a Fish Passage Ranger - Intern you will visit unique sites throughout the rohe to undertake water quality and ecological surveys to support state of the environment monitoring, targeted investigations and fish passage investigations. You will support the project field team in undertaking fish passage assessments, planning and implementing remediations and assisting with monitoring. These internships will also support other water quality monitoring programmes and provide for experience in recreational water quality monitoring, river water quality monitoring and groundwater quality monitoring.
