They service industries across New Zealand and are seeking a skilled Dynamic Balancing Technician to join their Wiri-based team. Key Responsibilities As a Dynamic Balancing Technician, your main responsibilities will include performing precision balancing and troubleshooting of rotating equipment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Use industrial balancing machines, vibration analysis equipment, and lathes to balance rotating equipment to ISO standards. * Troubleshoot balancing issues, manufacture balancing mandrels, and proactively address technical challenges. * Work alongside the production team, assisting with technical engineering tasks on the shop floor. * Take ownership of workload completion, advise of delays where necessary, and ensure work meets specifications. * Support colleagues, share knowledge, and assist as needed to achieve team targets. * Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all company health, safety, and environmental policies. * Participate in training, contribute to process improvements, and maintain technical competency. To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least 2 years of relevant mechanical or engineering experience * Knowledge of rotating equipment, balancing, or vibration analysis (training provided) * Ability to use balancing machines, lathes, and precision engineering tools * Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude * Physically fit and able to manage moderate lifting tasks * Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team * Commitment to health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test * Must have a clean police report with no charges pending If you are a motivated and skilled Dynamic Balancing Technician who is ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you.
