The Role: We’re looking for a skilled Aluminium Fabricator with proven experience in gate fabrication or balustrade joinery. As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing installation projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the project management team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and timeline standards. Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise on-site teams, including sheet metal installers, technicians, and subcontractors. * Responsible for setting out from plans and drawings for items such as Balustrades, Handrails, Cladding and other metalworks. * Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and deadlines. * Conduct regular site toolbox meetings and take responsibility for onsite health and safety tasks. * Coordinate with project management and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery. * Complete site Quality Checks to ensure compliance. * Review and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. * Monitor and control project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment. * Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams when necessary. * Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among the project teams. * Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project. Requirements: * Proven 5 years’ experience as a Senior Site Supervisor or similar role in the sheet metal installation industry. * English Speaking – IELT Score 7+ * In-depth knowledge of construction installation techniques, equipment, and materials. * Strong understanding of construction and safety regulations. * Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings and specifications. * Have in depth knowledge of relevant codes and regulations in relation to Barrier Design. * Excellent leadership and communication skills of teams up to 10 persons. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required. Qualifications: * Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction site installation of metal work . * Site Safe Gold (Supervisor) * EWP (Units 23966, 23960, 23962) * Heights and Harness (Units 15757, 23229, 25045) * MIG, TIG, ARC – Multi positional Training Required * Relevant certifications or vocational training is mandatory * Evidence of successfully managing and delivering large metalwork installation projects. * Familiarity with industry software and tools, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Aconex. Procore, and Wrike.
