We’re on the lookout for a skilled Micro Straddle / Combi Lift Operator for a permanent night shift role based in Drury, South Auckland. This is heavy-duty gear in a busy yard environment — think long, heavy product handling, tight turns, and precise moves. If you’ve been behind the controls of a Combi Lift or Micro Straddle and know how to keep things moving safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you. There's a few industry known names for this machine... you may know it as a combilift, or a micro straddle or a mobicon. What’s on offer: Full-time role on night shift. Start ASAP. Start time: 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday Great hourly rate $32+ per hour, based on your experience Work with a solid, supportive crew in an exciting technologically advanced site! What you'll be doing: Operating a Combi Lift / Micro Straddle carrier to safely move shipping containers Loading/unloading containers from trucks, and stacking and relocating containers to designated areas Maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Including the documentation for all loads is processed correctly. Supporting the wider yard team as needed What you'll bring to the role: Current forklift licence (OSH), and combilift licence Proven experience operating a Combi Lift or Micro Straddle A strong health and safety mindset, and physical fitness for lifting when required Ability to work independently on a night shift You'll also need the to be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history check, and provide two good references who can back your skills!
