I bought this bag in Paris many years ago and it has been a constant business travel companion. While the adventures we’ve had together show in some parts, the bag bears the sought-after hallmarks of a well-aged authentic LV bag such as the distinct honey patina of the leather and the fading of the gold-tone zippers. Nevertheless, the exterior canvas remains neat and beautiful. The leather piping is clean, smooth, and intact. The canvas strap has kept its original shape from when it was brand new. The leather detailing where the strap connects to the bag shows the most obvious wear and tear, and I have had one side professionally reinforced with stitching so it’s now very sturdy. Please see the photos. The interior is clean and neat; however, it has some minor stains from use. Despite the everyday wear and tear, the lovely bag still has much life ahead of it. The LV Reporter bag is not only a classic; it is a practical and durable Louis Vuitton piece. Other pre-loved versions still carry a hefty price tag on e-bay and other platforms.
