Ko ta matou mahi: Our Role This role outlines the primary responsibilities of the events Coordinator but is not limited to these tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the operational and strategic goals of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a liaison with event organizers, venues, and contract managers - Assist with the preparation of estimates and event-related invoicing - Manage staff rostering to ensure adequate coverage for all event shifts - Coordinate payroll processing for event personnel - Support the planning and execution of event logistics in collaboration with internal teams - Assist with interviews and the hiring process as required - Record staff hours and maintain timesheets accurately Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What You Will Bring: - Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A collaborative, team-focused attitude - Intermediate-level computer/software skills, including Excel and Microsoft Suite - Previous experience in event coordination, logistics, or rostering is preferred This role is operated from Monday to Sunday, 30 hours per week. Due to the nature of events, this is not your standard 9am–5pm role. Availability for weekends and flexible hours is essential.
