Based on your skills Key Responsibilities: Cabin Delivery & Collection: Operating our light truck and pulling a large trailer to safely and efficiently transport cabins to and from customer sites across Auckland and the wider region. Ensuring cabins are securely loaded, transported, and unloaded according to safety protocols. and set up on site water connection etc. Customer Interaction: Acting as a professional and friendly representative of Better Cabin Rentals Ltd. when interacting with customers during deliveries and collections. Providing basic instructions or answering common questions related to cabin placement or features on site. Cabin Maintenance & Preparation: Performing routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on cabins between rentals e.g., fixing , panting addressing wear and tear issues . Thoroughly checking cabins to ensure they are immaculate and ready for the next customer. Assisting with preparing cabins for transport, including checking wheels etc, leveling, and general readiness. Yard Management: Assisting with the organised storage, movement, and general upkeep of cabins and equipment within our Whangaparāoa yard. Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times. Experience Required: Driver's Licence: Essential - Must hold a valid NZ Class 2 Driver's Licence with a proven clean driving record. Driving Experience: Demonstrated experience driving large vehicles, ideally light commercial trucks, and comfort with towing or reversing large trailers. Practical Skills: Proven hands-on experience with general maintenance, carpentry, or practical problem-solving. A "can-do" attitude with basic tools and repairs. Physical Fitness: Ability to safely lift, move, and work with equipment as required for cabin handling and maintenance tasks. Reliability & Initiative: A highly reliable, punctual, and self-motivated individual capable of working independently and managing time effectively. Communication: Good verbal communication skills for clear interaction with customers.
