





We're looking for someone reliable, physically fit, and mechanically minded to help keep our busy depot moving! Whether you’re experienced in the industry or just keen to learn, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. 🔧 About the Role: As our Depot Assistant, you’ll play a key part in managing and maintaining containers, operating forklifts, assisting with container repairs, and supporting our self-storage operation. Your day-to-day will include: Loading and unloading containers with a forklift/container hoist Cleaning, painting, and welding container units Inspecting and maintaining container stock Keeping accurate depot records and logs Supporting container repairs and upgrades Occasionally visiting customer sites for container deliveries or assessments Helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient depot environment ✅ What You’ll Need: Must-Haves: Full NZ Class 1 Driver's Licence Forklift Licence (or willing to get one within 6 weeks) Physically fit – capable of manual handling and outdoor work Good coordination, communication, and attention to detail Basic computer/data entry skills A great team attitude and strong work ethic Nice-to-Haves (but not essential): Welding or trade qualifications Experience in container handling or yard work MEWP ticket Knowledge of health & safety best practices 💼 What’s In It for You?
