Space Group, a growing family-owned Australian company, is expanding operations in civil, communications, and electrical work. We’re looking for a self-driven operator to join and help lead our new HDD team. What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate (AU$) Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from New Zealand to regional Australia Accommodation, food, and flights provided 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off work schedule Opportunity to lead and build your own team Work with a supportive and growing business Key Responsibilities: Operate DitchWitch or Vermeer directional drills Use DigiTrak Falcon F5+ or equivalent tracking systems Read and interpret BYDA plans Locate and avoid underground services Ensure site safety and compliance at all times Communicate effectively with the team and clients About You: 2+ years’ experience operating HDD rigs Proven skills in underground utility tracking (Falcon F5+ preferred) Experience with civil and comms trenchless installs HR Licence (or NZ equivalent, or willing to upgrade) Strong leadership and communication skills Able to work independently in regional Australia Why Work With Us?
