We have an opportunity available for Vehicle Spray Painter and Car Groomer to join our team. As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will prepare vehicle surfaces, match and mix colours, and apply paint to vehicles. Position:- Vehicle Spray Painter Work Hours:-30-40 hours per week (Weekend availability is required) Pay Rate:- $24 per hour Job Type:- Full Time Location:- West Auckland Your Job Duties would be:- * Discuss vehicle-painting options with customers or managers. * Preparing vehicles by cleaning, sanding, and priming. * Repairing and filling small cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections on vehicles. * Mixing and matching paints to achieve the desired colour and consistency. * Apply paint and Using spray equipment for even application. * Buff and polish finished paintwork. * Ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety regulations. You would be required to have: * Must have 4 yr experience with vehicles. * Must have the Full Clean Drivers License. * Be able to pass pre employment drug test. * Must have clear criminal background. * Punctual, motivated, responsible and honest. * Careful, patient and accurate with an eye for detail. * Able to follow instructions and ask questions. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Good at problem solving. We are also looking for a dedicated and committed car groomer to join our team too. Position: Car Groomer X 2 position Work Hours:-30-40 hours per week (Weekend availability is required) Pay Rate:- $24 per hour Job Type:- Full Time Location:- West Auckland Your Job Duties would be:- * Preparing the interior and exterior of customer vehicles by cleaning, washing, waxing, and polishing and vacuuming all vehicles inside out after checking with the customer if they have any specific concerns. * Clean door jambs, rubber seals, and plastic work. * Inspect vehicles for any imperfections or damage and also perform basic mechanical checks such as water, oil and tyre pressure and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure. * Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into the hand-held devices as required. * Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and Tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth. * Pickup & drop off vehicles if required. * Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant personnel. You would be required to have: * Must have 2 yr experience with vehicle grooming. * A full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s license. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a good standard of work. * Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
