8We have collected these vintage Charles Judd chairs over the years and they are all in good working order. Varying degrees of condition, but currently in use. Not all matching, but in the same 'family' of colours. They look great as a set. Charles Judd established Thames Iron Works in 1869. In 1908, he took his five sons into partnership and Charles Judd Ltd was registered as a company. Bruce Judd designed the office chairs in the 1950s. They were making 1300 chairs a month at the peak of production. The last chairs were made in 1982 and can still be found today in many offices around NZ. There are 8 of these chairs in total. All look original, I don't think they have been recovered or altered in anyway. Very rare to get a collection like this in this original condition. The table pictured is also available in a separate auction. Pick up near Kumeu Akld.
