At FreshChoice Mangere Bridge we are passionate about our customers and providing products that they love to eat. We are looking for an experienced Knife Hand/Butcher to join our supermarket butchery team and help deliver top quality products and great service to our customers. We welcome applications from qualified or experienced butchers with a deep understanding of meat cuts and preparation techniques. Previous background working in a Supermarket Butchery department would be an advantage. About this role within our butchery team; - Prepare, cut and display beef, lamb, pork and poultry products to meet customer and food safety expectations - Help maintain a clean and organised workspace following all food safety and health and safety procedures - Ensure all products are correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled - Assist with stock control, rotation and waste minimisation Applicants would have excellent communication and time management skills, a great work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced and flexible environment. You would also be a team player who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing a great experience for customers. The position is permanent and involves working weekends plus 2 or 3 additional days during the week if required. Hours and days will be discussed in the interview.
