About the Role - Full-time, we endeavor to not work weekends. - You must be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. - You will be responsible for the assembly and erection of structural steel components across a wide range of construction projects. - You will be responsible for quality control checks and ensure quality standards are met. - You will be communicating with Managers, Project Managers and other construction workers to ensure the safe and efficient execution of installations. - You will be required to keep yourself and your team safe by ensuring proper health & safety standards are adhered to and be able to identify hazards and control these hazards within all aspects of your role. About You What you need to be successful: - Have at least 2-3 years relevant construction experience - Hold Sitesafe, EWP certificates, however training will be given if necessary. - Welding certification not required but would be benefit. - Be a motivated, hard-working team player with common sense. attention to detail and good problem- solving skills. -Have excellent communications skills and a strong command of the English language. - Have a strong customer focus, get on well with others and be polite and respectful to clients and co-workers. - Be fit and healthy, with good attendance levels as your team relies on you to assist with our day-to-day operations. - Have a clean Driver’s license. - The successful applicant must be eligible to work in New Zealand either as a resident or by holding a current work visa.
