Company: Zindia forestry limited Position: Export Operations Coordinator Reports to: Export Operations Manager Location: Auckland Weekly working hours： 30 hours weekly guaranteed, 35 max. Wage rate: 25-35 NZD per hour. Key responsibilities include: - End to end preparation and coordination of trade and export documentation (e.g.Bills of Lading, Certificates of origin, Phytosanitary Certificates) across all markets ensuring compliance to SOPs. - Liaising with multiple external organisations across multiple markets thatprovide trade documents and information (e.g. freight forwarders, shippingcompanies, suppliers). - Maintaining and developing relationships with banks to carry out the company’strade finance activity, including preparation of banking documents under Lettersof Credit (LCs). - Provided support to the Export Operations Manager in managing logistics acrossmultiple markets (e.g. NZ, USA, South Africa), for bulk and container exports. - Close coordination and support with the sales team in India to ensure the timelyissuance of contracts and LCs. - Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in multiplecountries. - Tracking, analysis and reporting of operational data. - Proactive communication of shipment status and issues to stakeholders. Who we are looking for: - Two years industry or relevant full time work experience. - Someone tertiary qualified in economics, finance, international business, accounting, or similar disciplines. However, we’re not wedded to this, more important is someone smart and with the right attitude. - A professional and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work in a fluid, fast paced environment. - Very strong attention to detail and working in a structured manner. - Comfort with working with external stakeholders from different cultures and operating styles. - Commercial nous & interest in commodities, international trade, and finance. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel. Extreme Co. are an Auckland based company specialising in ecological restoration in difficult to access, and high risk areas. We incorporate a range of ground based and rope access techniques across our varying sites. We are looking for full time permanent, or full time fixed term contract employees to work in our ground based roles. This role will require you to work together with our teams to survey and control pest plant species, using manual and agrichemical control methods. You will work outdoors, in bush and roadside corridor environments. Our ideal candidate will be: * Knowledgeable around native plants and pest plant control. * Experienced in carrying out physical labour outside in all weather and environments. * Reliable and hard working. * Someone who takes pride from doing a thorough job. * Very conscious and focused on health, safety, and environment. Our ideal candidate needs to be willing to develop (or advantageous to already hold): * A clean Full Class 1 Drivers License * Current Growsafe Certificate * Current First Aid Certificate * Chainsaw certifications and experience * A genuine interest in working towards biodiversity and conservation efforts * Native plant and pest plant identification and knowledge * Ability to work alone and as part of a team, adapting to new environments and technologies * A passion for the environment * Ability to use mobile mapping applications While not essential, prior knowledge in this industry would be desirable. We will give you full training, equipment, supervision, and support to obtain the experience and credentials you need for this role.
