Western Engineering specializes in the manufacture of rotating machinery. We work mainly with stainless and carbon steel. We require a trade qualified machinist, who is qualified to work in New Zealand, with a minimum of 3 years CNC turning and milling machining experience for a full-time position in our West Auckland engineering workshop. Competency with both conventional manual and CNC machine tools is required. Familiarity with the use of control systems by Fagor, Siemens and Proto Trak would be a distinct advantage. Fitting and/or welding experience would also be an advantage. We are a small team offering competitive remuneration and flexible working conditions.
