Job Title Assistant Restaurant Manager Number of positions: 1 Location Blockhouse Bay, Auckland Position Type Permanent- Ongoing Hours of work Full time, 30 to 35 hrs per week, Monday – Sunday (Rostered) Pay rate $25 -$30.00 per hour depending on the experience. Requirements Minimum 2 years of work experience in hospitality or customer service business. Duties and Responsibilities • Assist to select and order stock for the restaurant • Assist to deal with suppliers to ensure best quality and price • Maintain the records of stock and use stock records to analyze trends • Ensure customer service standers and provide feedback to employees on customer related issues • Implement customer service standards and amend standards and ensure standards are followed • Record all complaints or work place injuries or do understand their needs • Assist Manager to Keep records of sales and other financial transactions • Ensure that the restaurant and the staff comply with occupational health and safety regulations • Assist to plan work schedules • Participate in recruitment and training of new and existing employees • Technical skills and business knowledge is required with computer skills to align the management process • Actively participate in understanding different ethnic groups need as we are serving in ethnically diverse country • Estimate the production, distribution and consumption of goods to minimise the waste which could affect the profitability of the company • Reduce daily management and resource waste
