Machine Operator Location: Papakura We’re looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our timber processing team. This hands-on role is key to producing high-quality timber products safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste. Key Responsibilities: Operate and set up timber machinery (planers, bandsaws, etc.) Design, grind, and set knives to required profiles Monitor production quality and meet job targets Complete job sheets, report faults, and support maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Support training of new operators as needed What You’ll Bring: Solid knowledge of timber processing and wood characteristics Practical experience with timber machinery Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Problem-solving skills and ability to work with computer-controlled machines This is a great opportunity to contribute to a skilled team in a busy manufacturing environment.
