Takanini Feeds is a stock feed company with its feed mill based at Mangatawhiri in the northern Waikato. We’re a short drive from Pokeno, Tuakau, Pukekohe, the Hauraki Plains and Northern Waikato. We have a vacancy available for a Manufacturing Staff member, that will assist with running our feed mill, as part of our team. Full training will be provided. About the role You will be part of a small team that manufactures pellets and fresh meal products for animal feed, both in bagged and bulk. You will be responsible for ensuring that the raw ingredients are available as required by the production team. This is an important role is supporting the wider team. You will be expected to assist the wider team as required. We are looking for a reliable, team member. As a small team, we all need to support each other as necessary. About you • Be willing to learn how our feed mill works and understand your role on site. • Be a team player but be able to work independently • Be able to work under pressure. • Attention to detail. • Reliable and Punctual • Comfortable and adaptable in a busy work environment. • Can do attitude and proactive. • Fit, healthy, able to work in dusty conditions and lift up to 25 kg repeatedly. • Comfortable operating heavy machinery, including trucks, loader, forklifts, etc. • Willing to undergo and provide a negative drug test and ongoing health monitoring. This role does not require previous experience; and full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
