Our client are leaders in civil infrastructure and are seeking skilled, reliable, and hardworking Water Division Labourers/Operators to join their team in Waiwera. Position Details: Role: Water Division Labourer/OperatorWork Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays if required)Work Hours: 7:00am - approximately 5:30pm/6pm (depending on project requirements)Pay Rate: $28 - $30 per hourType of Role: Temporary role with potential to go permanent for the right person Responsibilities:• Move, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment around the site• Prepare work areas, including digging trenches, holes, and performing earthworks as required• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and related infrastructure• Help with site setup and clean-up, maintaining a tidy and safe work environment• Operate site vehicles and machinery to transport materials• Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper PPE use and safe equipment handling• Work collaboratively with the team, supporting tradespeople and supervisors as needed• Be reliable, punctual, and communicate clearly Requirements:• Valid Full Class 1 licence (essential)• WTR and Class 2 licences (highly advantageous)• Ability to work safely around live roads• Physically fit and capable of manual labour• Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision• Experience working in civil, water, or drainage projects favourable but not essential Successful Applicants Must:• Pass a pre-employment drug test• Return a clean criminal background check• Have reliable transport• Be flexible around work hours and days If you are interested, please APPLY online with your CURRENT CV
