We have just relocated to the sunny side of Westmere and build a beautiful new cafe & kitchen. Our production kitchen in our back building will take care of all slices. So your role is seperate with an emphasis on beautiful mini cakes, our cake orders (online) and keeping our cafe sweets looking amazing. YOUR ROLE - - Cinnamon buns, scones, muffins. - Baking cakes, decorating our cakes that are all semi rustic, super tasty and pretty! - Making all cake components; such as buttercream, mousse, ganache, Italian meringue, curd. - Baking and icing our mini cakes, cookies and icing these daily to put in our cafe cabinet. - Work in a small team and have excellent communication skills, be clean and organised. - You must have experience in a similar role of cake decorating and be able to write on cakes. - Be able to start early. - Have excellent refined skills, but also be happy to be shown the catroux style. - We would love someone that has any choux pastry, donut experience to bring new ideas to our cafe. START DATE - We will be opening around the 25th of JUNE. - As our catering is operational at the moment training can be provided sooner. YOU MUST BE IN NZ and have a valid work visa.
