We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to oversee the administrative functions of our green house based in Auckland. You shall be reporting directly to the director of the company. Job Title: Office Manager Location: Auckland Employment Type: Full Time Working Hours:- 30 hrs per Week Pay Rate: $24 per hour About the Role: This role requires a proactive professional who can take full responsibility for the company’s office administration in contributing to the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of our greenhouse activities, production goals, and business operations. Your Job duties would be but not limited too:- * Oversee all office administration duties, ensuring seamless coordination across business operations in a greenhouse settings. * Establish operational priorities and service standards including planting schedules, harvesting timelines, and crop maintenance. * Develop the crop rotation plans, soil enrichment strategies, and sustainable horticultural practices with inputs from the director. * Forecast yields and contribute to setting realistic production targets based on seasonal and market trends. * Allocate tasks to team members and supervise day-to-day workforce activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards. * Prepare and manage operating budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate records of crop production, sales, and financial transactions. * Maintain accurate inventory of greenhouse supplies including seeds, fertilizers, tools, and equipment. * Coordinate the scheduling and efficient use of machinery and technical equipment. * Liaise with suppliers and buyers, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and stay informed of horticultural market trends. * Collate reports and relevant data from operational teams into formal reporting formats for internal review and decision-making. * Work closely with third parties to resolve operational challenges and improve crop outcomes. * Ensure staff compliance with all health and safety, environmental, and labor regulations applicable to horticultural operations. Skills and Knowledge required for this role:- * Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in horticulture operations or (NZQA) Level 4 qualification in a related field. * Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with third parties. * Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. * Good understanding of horticultural practices and production cycles. * Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and labor law compliance is essential.
