Description

Auckland Hort Services Limited is a horticultural contracting business based in Pukekawa. We mainly service the kiwifruit industry covering an area from Te Kauwhata in the south to Helensville in the north. Our main operations include spraying, mowing, mulching, fertiliser and compost spreading. We operate a modern fleet of trucks and machinery. We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated person to join our team as a machinery operator mainly operating but not limited to one of our self propelled atom sprayers. The successful applicant will * Have a reliable can do attitude * Have basic mechanical know how * Be willing to learn * Work in a team and be able to work independent unsupervised * Work extended hours and weekends when required It would be desired but not essential to hold a Heavy Traffic license and a Grow-safe certificate. Full training can be given to the right applicant. *Remuneration will be based on skills and experience. *Mobile phone and iPad with unlimited data. *Work ute supplied to the right applicant. The successful applicant must be eligible to work in New Zealand and will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug test prior to an offer of employment being finalised.
