Description

We’re looking for a skilled Working Civil Foreman to lead on-site delivery of civil projects. You’ll be responsible for running daily site operations safely, efficiently, and to spec. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes full ownership of their site. Key Responsibilities • Lead site teams and daily operations • Read plans, set out works, and ensure levels/specs are met • Operate machinery and oversee prestart checks • Run daily prestart meetings and maintain JSA/Hazard IDs • Record daily site data (plant, labour, materials, delays) • Report incidents and maintain strong communication with Site Manager • Manage materials, fuel, and site resources proactively • Uphold high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Civil Foreman • Competent with site setup, plant, and crew leadership • Strong understanding of safety, setout, and civil methods • Confident operating various machinery (tickets preferred, WTR, Class 2 and above etc) • Reliable, hands-on, and solutions-focused HIRING NOW

Working with the QS on monthly claims to ensure accurate invoicing • Assist crew with Job start up (complying with the supplied drawings) to ensure the crew is set up for success • Organize and monitor team of men effectively and efficiently. • Ensure all daily work sheets are completed as per S.O.P.S • Ensure all works carried out on site are recorded and forwarded to the office for processing no later than 24 hours after work has been completed. • Ensure all Variations to the job are captured and authorized by the Client. • When job complete must do a final site clearance check to ensure all equipment has been stacked, ready for pick up and fully removed. • Ensure site is kept clean at all times. • Communicate all invoicing of day work sheets with Office Manager. • Stack equipment safely ready for pick up or transportation. • A sweep of the site is to be done at completion of job. If gear is left over, organise for it to be collected and returned to the yard. • Ensure all invoice have been claimed at the end of each month. Health & Safety Responsibilities: • Check worksites for possible hazards, identify record and have rectified. • As and when required, inspect scaffolding for safety and compliant (assisting the Health and Safety Management team). • There is to be no smoking/ vaping in Company vehicles.
