Machine Operator (Junior) - Food Production Mon - Fri, 6.00 / 6.30 am start, 8 hours per day Starting hourly rate is $25 per hour, a higher rate is negotiable depending on relevant experience If you are currently working on a production line or have had experience as a food processor, this could be the opportunity to develop yourself and grow your career within the food manufacturing industry. Ideal applicants will need: * Previous food manufacturing experience * Good understanding of the GMP environment * Ability to be able to start early - 6 or 6.30am start, Monday to Friday, working 8 hours a day with the flexibility to work over time when required * Desire to learn, grow and succeed in whatever you do * Be physically fit to handle some heavy items and can withstand working on your feet most of the duration of the shift Your daily key responsibilities will include setting up the production lines, setting up and cleaning of the machines, packing and any other duties as requested by your supervisor. The role is not for everyone. You will be working in a GMP environment where it requires a good understanding of processes and safe practices from yourself and your team, along with the ability to be able to work with raw meat and handle whatever else that comes with working in such environment. Full training is provided with the opportunity to learn and grow within the business. Previous production line, or food processing experience with technical knowledge or good exposure in machine operation along with your positive attitude and passion for food would help you secure this permanent opportunity.
