About the role: * Oversee the NZ financial function (financial accounting, payroll and accounts), including support in driving best practice, financial analysis and support in operational decision making. * Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. * Support the executive in developing and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability. * Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations on mix of business and market approach. * Provide guidance and review of commercial contracts to ensure risk is managed. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. * Lead and mentor a team of finance and payroll staff to ensure best practice and performance.
