Quantity Surveyor Role Part-Time S.A.S Builders are seeking a QS to join our team in Pukekohe. Initially this will be a part-time role (open to contract) with potential to become a full-time role as the company expands. This could either be as 2 x full days or 3 x half days, happy to discuss a solution that works for all involved. We are a high-end construction company specialising in residential renovations and new builds. We currently have a great team and focused on growth, each of us specialising in our own fields and fuelled by a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to our clients. What you'll be doing: • Pricing of residential construction projects in Build Xact from smaller renovations through to large scale new builds/town house developments. • Preparation of estimates, tender documentation and negotiation with sub-contractors. • Completing Materials Take-offs from plans. • Occasional Site Visit • Working with the Project manager to complete large variations • Preparing Build / Renovation Contracts • Working alongside our team in office What we’re after: • A university qualification is not an absolute requirement, but a benefit • Excellent systems/IT skills including Microsoft excel • Confidence reading drawings and navigating client and subbie conversations • be self-motivated and able to produce accurate pricing schedules and documentation The benefits of joining this company and undertaking this role include: • Growth Mindset company • Staff Social events & supportive work environment S.A.S Builders is proud of its positive and encouraging work environment.
