Remo MasterTouch Drum Kit

Five-piece Remo MasterTouch kit purchased from Drum City in Auckland in the mid 90s. Played a lot of jazz and concert band music on this kit through the late 1990s - 2000s before it was packed away as things got busier and I found fewer opportunities to play. I'll be sad to part with it but it'll be much better off being played by someone instead of sitting in the bags unused. Has been configured as a four-piece as shown in the photos for almost the entire time I've owned it, this auction includes the middle tom too so it could be re-configured as a five-piece. Drums: - 14" snare - 10"/12"/14" toms - 24" kick The drums have a 'sunburst' fade finish that has weathered over time into the golden colour shown in the photos, compare with the photo of the mostly-unused 12" tom which has been in its bag most of the time and still has the original silver fade colour. Hardware as shown in the photos, including: - drum throne - Tama Iron Cobra double-kick pedal - Pearl hi-hat stand - various cymbal stands and mounting arms - memory locks There is some rust on the hardware and metal parts of the drums, see photos for examples of this. Bags: - five BeatBag soft covers, one for each drum - a Tuxedo hardware bag which just fits all the hardware These bags are all fairly worn but still do their job. The hardware bag is missing a handle on one end. Sabian Pro cymbals: - hi-hats - crash The cymbals are pretty old and worn but no obvious cracks, I'm basically just throwing these in for free on top of the kit. Overall the drums and hardware have a few dings and scratches as should be expected for a well-played kit that's nearly 30 years old, but nothing too major.
