We are a professional cleaning company in Auckland for Home and Commercial cleaning with over 20 years experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Service Management team. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for upholding our reputation for excellence, health and safety standards, staff training and ensuring our teams continue to provide excellent and efficient service for our valued clients. As a full-time and permanent employee, you will be based in Auckland, but the successful candidate must be prepared to travel to various sites around the metropolitan area and environs to successfully execute your Responsibilities. Your working hours will be from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, providing stability and a consistent schedule. However, please note that there may be some weekend shifts required throughout the year. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour. In addition to this, you will enjoy benefits such as 4 weeks of annual holiday, a company uniform, and ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills. The hours for this position will range from a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours up to a maximum of 45 hours per week, depending on the demand for our services. Key Responsibilities: * Reviewing safety procedures and training staff on safe work practices * Monitoring staff work performance to ensure that they are completing their tasks efficiently * Maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and ordering supplies as needed * Conducting regular employee evaluations to assess performance and provide feedback * Scheduling work shifts to ensure that all areas are properly cleaned at the right times * Establishing and enforcing policies regarding workplace safety, security, and hygiene procedures * Training new employees on company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations * Reviewing the work performed by staff to ensure that it meets quality standards * Developing budgets for labour, supplies, equipment, and other operating costs You work well under pressure, bring fast solution for problems, have analytical skills for people and business, are able to work independently, like to work with people and deliver excellent customer service, good presentation, be responsible to hold keys of the commercial places, be punctual, able to work evenings and at night and on weekends, as required. Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years cleaning management experience is essential. - Expertise/experience in site/construction cleaning is an advantage - Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills - Appearance must be neat and tidy and well groomed - Regular and reliable attendance - Eye for detail - Commitment to health and workplace safety - Strong ability to work independently as well as within a team - Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required Join our team today and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional cleaning services!
