It’s not a café, not exactly a store, and not just a place to hangout. It’s a thoughtful blend of all three, shaped by the people who walk through the door. We’re looking for a skilled, motivated barista to make our coffee offering their own. This is your chance to grow something from the ground up, serving a customer base of mountain bikers, locals, and coffee lovers. The coffee bar will sit alongside one of the most considered spaces in the country — and we want the coffee to match. **What we're looking for** You’re someone who loves great coffee and knows how to make it well (we're working with Eight Thirty) — but you’re just as good at making people feel welcome. You don’t need to have worked in high-end cafes (though that helps), but you will need to care about quality, consistency, and customer experience. We’re a small, close-knit team, and this role is best suited to someone who’s confident running solo, keeping the space clean and prepped, and engaging with a wide mix of people — from experienced riders to local parents grabbing a flat white. Job Description An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly Café Assistant to join our team at Summerset Heritage Park in Ellerslie, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café.
